Bernard M. Gburek, M.D. Dr. Bernard Gburek received his Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Michigan in 1988 and earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine in 1992. He completed his residency training in 1998 at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Gburek is a board certified urologist; he specializes in urologic oncology with an expertise in minimally invasive surgery and also performed the first robotic assisted prostatectomy in the State of Arizona. He also treats male and female patients with kidney stone disease, urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction, and general urologic disorders. Dr. Gburek is actively involved in conducting clinical trials and serves as an investigator. He is a professional member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, American Medical Association, the Maricopa Medical Society, American Urological Association, Maricopa Medical Society and the Phoenix Urologic Society./
Dr. Gburek spends his free time investigating the activities of his three young children. He resides with his wife and family in Scottsdale, Arizona. [ back to top ]
